The Roma Entrepreneurship Development Initiative- REDI in partnership with Association of Young Roma (AYR), UCCU, and Center of Common Interest announce a call for 5 Roma Business Facilitators in each of the following countries: Slovakia, Hungary, and Czech Republic. The main purpose of the business facilitators training is to enable young Roma to assess and assist the needs of the Roma entrepreneurs in their communities.
The trained Business Facilitators, depeding on the country, will work under the supervision and coordination of REDI, UCCU, Young Roma or Spolecny Zajem.
Responsibilities:
The selected Business Facilitators will be obliged to attend the Training of Business Facilitators in Valaska, identify and map Roma entrepreneurs, input the data on the system, attend meetings with project manager, contribute to dissemination of information for the events, assist the project manager in organizing events for Roma, and attend the events with Roma entrepreneurs.
Qualifications:
This opportunity is available to all Roma and young Roma who are leaders, activists, students, and business oriented persons from name of the target cities. Graduates and students from the business/economics field, business oriented persons, Roma Education Fund (REF) scholarship beneficiaries are highly recommended to apply. Applicants are expected to have:
- Good knowledge of the Roma community and culture
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Clear and motivated desire to become Roma Business Facilitator in the community
Personal attitudes: self-initiative and responsibility, results-oriented, focused on continuous improvement, concern for quality, efficiency and accuracy, adaptability, open to work in different environments, integrity, loyalty and good faith, discretion, independence and confidence, respect for diversity.
Selection Criteria
The Roma Business Facilitators will be selected through a competitive process based on the candidate’s suitability, field experience and motivation. The selected candidates will be invited for an interview. Candidates will be notified of the outcome of the evaluation process by 20 of September 2019.
