Paid REF-REDI internship in Financial Institutions


In partnership with Roma Education Fund, REDI offers young Roma the opportunity to gain working experience in a financial institution working as a loan officer. Currently, our program hosts 5 interns.

REDI is currently looking for a Project Assistant based in Bucharest for a minimum period of 6 months.

Our Project Assistant shall: Coordinate the implementation of the project deliverables, work closely with all project team members to ensure high-quality work, attend regular meetings both internally and externally with partners, regularly report project status and progress, weekly timesheets, take part in fundraising projects. Moreover, our project assistant will identify and map new entrepreneurs from various cities in Romania, will be responsible to organize logistics for information sessions with Roma entrepreneurs in various cities in Romania. Furthermore, liaise with Romanian Microfinance Institutions and Banks, Roma and pro-Roma NGOs in Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj, Iasi and in Galati, organize outreach events with young Roma to popularize the REDI – REF – MFI internship project and be in charge of the selection process.

Become a Mentor !

Volunteers and Mentors play a crucial role in the development of entrepreneurs and our small business clients. REDI volunteers work alongside clients and staff to educate, coach, and mentor the small business community. As a volunteer, you can lend your expertise to provide one-on-one counseling/mentorship or give subject matter advice through workshops or webinars.
